EAT MORE SALT
Salt does not increase blood pressure
FACTS:
-
The best amount of salt to keep blood pressure normal is 6-9000 mg/day
-
Sodium is not harmful when combined with chloride, potassium or magnesium 2
-
The chloride ions in salt are essential for digestion, necessary for making hydrochloric acid in the stomach3
-
Salt improves sleep by increasing serotonin production
-
The best salt is sea salt, unbleached and free of micro plastics. The best tested salt is Jacobsen, Kirkland Signature Sea Salt and Vancouver Island Sea Salt
-
Bleached table salt is NOT good; many sea salts have more chloride than sodium
-
The older you get your blood pressure should increase4
-
“In patients with heart failure, a dietary intervention to reduce sodium intake did not reduce clinical events” 1
-
4 cups of coffee per day depletes about 1 tsp of salt through urination. The current recommended salt intake it is only 1 tsp of salt per day or less; which means if you drink coffee you are not getting the salt you need

Cholesterol does NOT cause heart problems
And
Statin drugs do nothing but harm.
Facts:
-
‘Normal’ cholesterol numbers are made up figures with no scientific basis
-
‘Normal’ total cholesterol should be 200-300 and even that is a guess
-
Lowest deaths are people with cholesterol levels of 210-2501
-
At 120, your risk of death is 2.5X than at 210
-
At 300, your risk of death is 1.3X than at 210
-
It is better to be above 210 than below
-
At 120 your risk of stroke triples that of normal levels
